Event Review:

The third night of New Japan Soul 2025 delivered a solid mix of young talent progression, ongoing faction rivalries, and exciting tag team action.

  • Yuto Nakashima vs. Murashima was a great learning opportunity for the rising Young Lions.
  • Tenzan and Tiger Mask showed they still have chemistry, despite age, in a match that balanced veteran flair and new blood.
  • The match involving KENTA and Ishimori had lots of action, teasing future singles feuds, especially with Wato and Ishimori.
  • The LIJ vs. House of Torture match brought chaos, with SHO and EVIL using their usual dirty tricks, while Naito and Hiromu kept the crowd fired up.
  • TMDK vs. CHAOS could be the best match of the night — it was a masterclass in trios teamwork with Zack Sabre Jr. shining technically.
  • The main event, featuring Shota Umino and SANADA, was a fast-paced contest, planting seeds for future main event-level feuds.
