Event Review:
Main Event: Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa – Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
Cody Rhodes put his title on the line against The Bloodline’s enforcer, Solo Sikoa. It was a physical, emotionally charged match with interference from Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu, but Rhodes overcame the odds once again. He nailed the Cross Rhodes after taking out the interference with a steel chair and pinned Solo clean to retain.
Seth Rollins vs. Gunther – World Heavyweight Championship
In a match-of-the-year contender, Gunther and Rollins battled with brutal physicality and psychology. Gunther finally ended Rollins’ reign after a long war, becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion via powerbomb after a failed Phoenix Splash attempt.
Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch vs. Nia Jax – Women’s Title
This triple threat match brought chaos and drama. Ripley looked dominant, but it was Becky Lynch who stole the win by pinning Nia after Ripley hit Riptide. Becky Lynch is now the new Women’s Champion!
John Cena vs. Logan Paul
In a highly hyped showdown, the veteran Cena clashed with the viral sensation Logan Paul. Cena gave the fans one last classic, hitting an AA from the top rope to score the win in what might be his final SummerSlam match.
Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus – Intercontinental Championship
A hard-hitting match between two powerhouses. Breakker retained with a thunderous spear after surviving two Brogue Kicks.
DIY vs. The Judgment Day – Tag Titles
Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano delivered a classic tag team performance, but Priest and Bálor used their experience and dirty tactics to regain the titles.
LA Knight vs. AJ Styles – Street Fight
This was a wild brawl that spilled into the crowd. LA Knight won with a BFT on a steel chair, getting a huge crowd reaction.
Austin Theory vs. Carmelo Hayes – U.S. Title
Hayes looked sharp, but Theory used the ropes to steal a cheap win and retain.
Bayley vs. Jade Cargill
Cargill looked strong, but Bayley used her veteran instincts to pick up the win via Rose Plant.
Andrade vs. Drew McIntyre
A fierce grudge match that ended with McIntyre standing tall after a Claymore Kick.
